With Global Engagement as one of the key initiatives, Kathmandu University aims to streamline all the past, and potential collaborations with international academic and research institutions. The University as established consolidated unit name Global Engagement Division (GED) under the central Secretariat.

The GED has following key objectives:

  • Internationalization of Kathmandu University

  • Academic exchanges

  • Relation with global higher educational and research institutions

  • Relationship with the national educational institutions

GED has developed guideline – PROSPECTS of INCREASING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS at Kathmandu University – aiming to increase the number of foreign students to 10% of total student number in all schools the near future.
