With Global Engagement as one of the key initiatives, Kathmandu University aims to streamline all the past, ongoing and potential collaborations with international academic and research institutions. The University has established a consolidated unit named Global Engagement Division (GED) under the central Secretariat.

The GED has the following key objectives:

  • Internationalization of Kathmandu University

  • Academic exchanges

  • Relation with global higher educational and research institutions

  • Relationship with the national educational institutions

GED has developed a guideline – PROSPECTS of INCREASING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS at Kathmandu University – aiming to increase the number of foreign students to 10% of its total student number in all schools in the near future.
